Marti McFly Smith is a writer and creative producer with Hey Girl! being her first children's book.  Hey Girl! as written as a love ltter to McFly's Younger self and every other braver girl.  At the heart of her work is one, singular message - you are loved.  An Orgeonian at heart, she now calls Los ANgeles home where she lives with her husband and their two sons.  

Paula de Aguiar is a Brazilian illustrator born in Recife, Pernambuco.  She has always been a very imaginative child.  Part of this imaginative world still lives inside her and she gives it wings through illustration.
